Earth is Back in the Driver’s Seat with President-Elect Biden
Back in November 2016 when Donald Trump won the U.S. Presidential election, most progressive people knew that his administration would deal a devastating blow to the environment – and they were correct.
During the past four years, President Trump rolled back many critical environmental regulations, propped up the oil and coal industries, pulled out of the landmark Paris climate accords, loosened regulations on toxic air pollution, called for sharp logging increases on public lands … the list goes on and on.
Before he made many of these drastic changes, we launched the “Fight Back in the Name of Earth” campaign, which served as a call to global organizations and people looking to fight back and save our planet with .Earth domain names.
Thankfully, we now have a new incoming Presidential administration that will be truly fighting back in the name of Earth. In other words, the Earth will be back in the driver’s seat.
Even before he has taken office, President-elect Joe Biden outlined a plan for a Green Energy Revolution to already rolling out key members of his environmental team, and has said he will re-enter into the Paris Climate Agreement.
While it will certainly take some time to rollback the Trump-era anti-environment executive orders and legislation, it is important to note that organizations and individuals can help support Biden’s efforts with their own .Earth domain names.
Something as simple as a domain name can convey that your organization is committed to the betterment of life for all on living creatures on our planet.
