When most organizations celebrate their anniversaries, it typically involves a team outing with food and toasts to the great accomplishments achieved. For the .Earth domain, we chose to do something truly unique that allows us to give back to the Earth for our second anniversary.
From November 15th, 2017 through the end of the year, for each new .Earth domain registered a new tree will be planted in a region in Portugal that was recently devastated by wildfires.
To date, our partners at Mossy.Earth have planted more than 200 trees in the region – thanks to the tireless efforts of Mossy.Earth – and expect to have more than 500 domains registered by the time the campaign ends on December 31st.
