With Earth’s resources being depleted, we need to find new ways of living that work with nature and unite ancient spiritual wisdom and modern technology – allowing people to reach their full potential and live peacefully and purposefully.
This is the vision behind VillageoftheFuture.Earth, which aims to build a network of eco-villages where people live and co-create in harmony with their environment and their fellow citizens. The construction of the first Village of the Future will begin in 2021, and the follow-on satellite villages will be created throughout the planet, forming a grid to spread conscious and sustainable living.
Daan chose a .Earth domain for the Village of the Future website because he feels a deep connection to Mother Earth, and it reinforces his vision for this project.
“As soon as we wrote down VillageoftheFuture.Earth, I thought ‘wow’ my whole body responded,” said Daan. “The motivation behind all of this is that I feel deeply connected and accountable to Mother Earth by changing how we live, and helping everyone else.”
